For a long time I have already been asking myself the Vape Pen Battery question, “Why is smoking bad for your health?”. The reason why I ask myself this question is simple and goes along the lines of a statement by Mark Twain “Why I don’t desire to be a poison addict, I’d be from a limb!” What Twain is saying is that should you smoke a cigarette and then decide that you don’t want to smoke anymore, you’d be a whole lot out of luck. There are multiple reasons why smoking is harmful to your health. I’ll outline two of these here.
The first reason that I wish to get down to why is smoking bad for your health is due to the high degrees of carcinogens in cigarettes. When you smoke a cigarette you are unknowingly inhaling thousands upon a large number of carcinogens that have been placed into the air through the tobacco, the oil used in the packing and the way it really is processed. These carcinogens penetrate deep into your lungs and create thousands of different types of cancer over their lifetime. This includes lung cancer, mouth cancer, throat cancer, esophageal cancer and cervical cancer to name several.

Everything that you ingest or create within your body is passed through your system via your lungs. You therefore have to keep this in mind when thinking about the potential risks of smoking. Not forgetting the other diseases which are created as time passes from smoking.
Secondly, smoking creates a weak disease fighting capability, which increases your threat of colds and the flu. When you are already susceptible to colds and the flu, then smoking definitely decreases the rate of which the body can fight off these common illnesses. Also, smokers have a problem with digestion, thus causing them to have problems with several digestive problems such as irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. The nicotine in cigarettes causes your blood vessels to constrict, increasing your heart rate and blood pressure. The result of this increased stress in your heart and circulatory system is premature aging and poor health.
Thirdly, smokers undergo more changes within their bodies due to smoking. The nicotine increases your cravings for food and make you be less tolerant of winter. Your body doesn’t sweat and for that reason you cannot control your body temperature effectively, leading to fast weight loss. Assuming you have a pre-existing medical condition, this may put you at risk of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, strokes, lung disease, raised blood pressure, kidney failure and other serious health conditions.
Finally, if you smoke, you are more likely to get sick. Many studies show that regular smokers suffer more severe illnesses than non-smokers. This consists of lung cancer, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, bladder cancer and various forms of cancer of the mouth, throat, tongue, lungs and pancreas.
In short, smoking is not best for your health. Some of the specific diseases and disorders cited are too numerous to mention, but we shall touch on several here.
